The gallery Echoes of Valor is based on the four seasons. The seasons are depicted as famous poems written during or about World War One. Each poem has its own paired illustration inspired by the writing. The illustrations are rough and sketchy. This style is inspired by real sketches done during the time period to show the rough reality of the war.
